Vacation leave does not accumulate from <br />year to year. Unused vacation leave is paid to employees upon termination of employment. <br />Employees earn vacation leave during the year to be used the following year, As of December <br />31, 2401, this earned vacation leave is not expected to be liquidated with expendable available <br />resources. Therefore, it is shown as a liability in the General Long-Term Debt Account Group <br />for employees paid from governmental funds. <br />C. Compensatory Leave -Policemen and firemen have accumulated overtime-compensatory <br />leave for a variety of reasons. As of December 31, 2041, none of this liability is expected to be <br />liquidated with expendable available financial resources. The liability is accounted for in the <br />General Long-Term Debt Account Group, <br />D. Personal Leave - Gity policemen earn personal leave at the rate of seven days per year. <br />Personal leave does not accumulate from year to year. Unused personal leave may be roiled <br />into sick leave.
