solution No. 1421 RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, (the "City ") is the owner of the certain real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more particularly described as follows: See Exhibit A (hereinafter referred to as the Real Property),and; WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 9 -6 -3, said Real Property is under the exclusive control of the Board of Public Works for the City of South (hereinafter referred to as the "Board "); and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment (Redevelopment), acting by and through the South Bend Redevelopment Commission ( "Commission "), hereby expresses its desire to acquire Real Property from the City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, the City may exchange or transfer property with another governmental entity upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and more particularly as follows: See Exhibit A by the City of South Bend, Indiana to the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, shall be, and hereby is, accepted. 2. That upon receipt of fully executed quitclaim deed to the Real Property from the City, the Director of Redevelopment is hereby authorized and directed to cause the recording of said quitclaim deed in the Office of the St. Joseph County Recorder. 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption.
