� L .V1 Resolution No.( A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment (Redevelopment) is the owner of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana: Lot Numbered One Hundred Fifty -seven (157) as shown on the recorded Plat of Wengers & Kriebghbaum Replat of a part of M.L. Wenger's Sixth Addition to the City of South Bend, recorded April 1, 1903 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, in Plat Book 8, page 103, excepting therefrom a lot or parcel of land two feet (2 ft.) in width East and West taken off of and from the entire length of the West side thereof (hereinafter referred to as the Real Property), and; rw WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 7 -14 -3, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (Commission) is the governing body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment and, pursuant to I.C. 36 -7 -14 -12.2 may dispose of the Real Property; and WHEREAS, Redevelopment, through the Commission, is desirous of transferring the Real Property to the City of South Bend, Indiana, with the understanding that the City of South Bend, Indiana, through its Board of Public Works, will subsequently dispose of the Real Property to the Revelation Church of God in Christ, a non- profit corporation, exempt from income taxation under Section 503(c) of the Internal Revenue Code, for use for church purposes; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, Redevelopment, acting through the Commission and the City, acting by and through the Board, may exchange or transfer property with one another upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity; and WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works, at its meeting of August 5, 1996 will consider its Resolution No. - accepting the transfer of the Real Property to the City for 1.00 and upon the terms described hereinabove. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:
