RESOLUTION NO. 1470 <br />RESOLUTION RELATED TO ACQUISTION OF PROPERTY IN THE <br />SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, in <br />furtherance of the South Bend Central Development Area Development Plan, to acquire <br />unencumbered fee title to the real estate identified on attachment "A" in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission as follows: <br />The Executive Director is authorized and directed to cause a notice and offer in <br />writing to be made to the owner(s) identified on Attachment "A" at the indicated <br />price and upon the indicated terms. <br />2. In the event the owner(s) identified on Attachment A reject the Commission's offer <br />for the property, the Executive Director shall report the same to the Commission, <br />but is not authorized hereby to encourage any counter offer or any other purchase <br />price for the property other than that authorized hereby. <br />Adopted at the Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission held on October 4, 1996 at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson <br />Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />Paula N.
