South Bend Central Development Area <br />(3) continued... <br />Mr. Relos noted that on May 24 the <br />Commission approved a professional <br />services agreement in the amount of $14,900 <br />with the Troyer Group to design fagade <br />improvements for the Memorial Hospital <br />campus. As this process has progressed, it <br />has expanded from facades only to include <br />cohesive design features for the open parking <br />and landscaped areas between Bartlett and <br />Navarre. In addition, staff would like to <br />include the old Nipsco building at the corner <br />of Michigan and La Salle into the fagade <br />improvement program. <br />To accommodate these changes, an <br />addendum to the May 24 agreement covers <br />architectural services for final concept <br />boards, two concepts for the Nipsco building, <br />and providing preliminary construction costs <br />for all components of the project. The cost <br />for these additional services is $4,600, plus <br />expenses. <br />Staff requests approval of this Professional <br />Services Agreement Addendum in a not -to- <br />exceed amount of $5,000. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Varner, seconded by <br />Mr. Alford and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Professional services <br />agreement addendum with The Troyer Group <br />for Memorial Hospital area fagade <br />improvements in an amount not to exceed <br />$5,000. <br />8 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED PROFESSIONAL <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT ADDENDUM WITH THE <br />TROYER GROUP FOR MEMORIAL HOSPITAL <br />AREA FACADE IMPROVEMENTS IN AN AMOUNT <br />NOT TO EXCEED $5,000 <br />
