(ii) Roofs, if sloped, shall be clad in cedar wood shake, <br /> fiberglass shingles, asphalt shingles, slate shingles, clay <br /> tile,prefinished pre-stamped metal shingles or other <br /> recognized residential roofing material. Sheet or roll-type <br /> roofing is prohibited. <br /> (D) Multi-Family Residential Colors <br /> (i) Bright colors are prohibited as primary house colors but <br /> may be used for subtle trim accents in amounts not to <br /> exceed 10%of the fa�ade area. <br /> (E) Multi-Family Residential Projections <br /> (i) Attached dwelling units shall have street-facing, individual <br /> entries and porches along the primary street frontage. <br /> Decks and garages shall be located and oriented to the rear <br /> of the structure. <br /> (ii) Front doors shall be a prominent feature on the primary <br /> street fa�ade of the unit. <br /> (iii) Porch handrails of perforated metal, stainless steel cables, <br /> and unfinished metal mesh are prohibited. <br /> (iv) Open porch bases are prohibited. Porch bases shall be <br /> continuously skirted with a painted wood lattice panel, <br /> masonry, concrete or similar material to the primary <br /> building. <br /> (F) Multi-Family Residential Lighting <br /> (i) Floodlights and uplights with bulbs greater than one hundred <br /> (100)watts on residential building fa�ades are prohibited. <br /> Motion-sensored flood lights and security lights shall be <br /> limited to rear door entries, side door entries or garages <br /> only. <br /> (ii) Building and landscape lighting shall be a natural white <br /> color consistent with incandescent,fluorescent,LED or <br /> metal halide lighting. Colored lights are prohibited unless <br /> for appropriate seasonal decoration or interest. <br /> (G) Multi-Family Residential Mechanical Equipment and Utilities <br /> (i) Mechanical equipment shall not be located along primary <br /> and secondary street frontages. <br />
