Resolution 1737 - Exhibit A <br />--- - -Page 6 <br />uses. The designation of the area for health care related uses shall not restrict opportunities for <br />uses that are complementary and compatible. <br />7.2 Area M: Elementary School <br />This area is presently being used for the South Bend Community School Corporation's Madison <br />Elementary School. This area will continue to be used as such. <br />7.3 Area N: Multi Family Residential <br />This area is presently being utilized as a Multi Family Residential and will continue to be used as <br />such. <br />7.4 Area O: Fraternal, Civic Organization and Religious Uses <br />This area is presently being utilized by Fraternal, Civic Organization and Religious Uses. The <br />® area shall remain as such. Sharing of the surface parking lots located in this area is encouraged. <br />7.5 Area P: Transition Area <br />The highest priority in this area shall be mixed use, commercial and office, which complements <br />development activities in the Central Business District. <br />8.0 TRANSPORTATION <br />The basic objective of the transportation plan will be the provision of a vehicular circulation <br />system that will facilitate the free and safe flow of traffic into, through and around the area. <br />9.0 PARKING <br />The Downtown Medical Services District shall be subject to the Parking Guidelines presented in <br />Section III. - C. of the SBCDA Development Plan. Where appropriate shared parking between <br />uses is encouraged. Future parking plans should be co- ordinated in order to meet the needs of <br />the Downtown Medical Services District. The construction of parking structures is also <br />recommended. <br />10.0 DESIGN REVIEW <br />The Downtown Medical Services District is not subject to the design review guidelines <br />presented in Section IV. of the SBCDA Development Plan. <br />11.0 LAND ACQUISITION <br />Downtown Medical Services District <br />
