Mr. Gilot noted Jackson's quote was very low and asked Mr. Jackson if his numbers were correct and if he would really be able to do the job for that amount. Mr. Jackson stated he had reviewed his numbers and they were correct. After reviewing those quotations, Mr. Bill Schalliol, Economic Development, recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Jackson Trucking & Excavating, in the amount of $11,000.00. Therefore, Mr. Littrell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the quotation be awarded as outlined above. Mr. Inks seconded the motion, which carried.
