RESOLUTION NO. 2057 <br />A RESOLUTION OF <br />THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM <br />THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY <br />WHEREAS, the St. Joseph County Airport Authority ( "Airport Authority") is the owner of certain real <br />property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein ("Property'); and <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission ("Commission'), governing bpdy of the <br />City of South Bend Department of Redevelopment, is desirous of acquiring the Property in order to facilitate <br />the development of the Airport Economic Development Area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Airport Authority is desirous of conveying the Property to the Commission for such <br />purpose; and <br />WHEREAS, in consideration of the conveyance of the Property to the City of South Bend, for the use <br />and benefit of its Department of Redevelopment, the Commission and the Airport Authority have agreed to the <br />terms and conditions of said conveyance as set forth in a Purchase Agreement dated _May 27 2004. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION THAT: <br />1. The South Bend Redevelopment Commission hereby approves and accepts the conveyance of <br />the Property to the City of South Bend, for the use and benefit of its Department of <br />Redevelopment pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the Purchase Agreement <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit B. <br />2. The South Bend Redevelopment Commission hereby directs its attorney to prepare all <br />documents necessary to carry out the intent expressed herein. <br />3.
