R1 I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />AMENDING AND RE- ADOPTING THE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT <br />RELOCATION POLICY AND POLICY OF MANAGEMENT OF ACQUIRED PROPERTY <br />TO INCLUDE THE SOUTH SIDE DEVELOPMENT AREA AND THE NORTHEAST <br />NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />WHEREAS, on May 10, 1991 the South Bend Redevelopment Commission ( "Commission ") <br />approved and adopted a Relocation Policy and a Policy of Management of Acquired Properties setting <br />forth its policies and procedures and requirements concerning relocation benefits and services provided <br />to persons and businesses displaced as a result of redevelopment activities in certain development areas <br />previously designated by the Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Relocation Policy has been amended and re- adopted by the Commission on <br />June 4, 1999; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission desires to amend and re -adopt the Relocation Policy and the <br />Policy of Management of Acquired Properties to include the South Side Development Area and the <br />Northeast Neighborhood Development Area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />as follows: <br />1. The Department of Redevelopment Relocation Policy and Policy of Management of <br />Acquired Properties are hereby amended to include the South Side Development Area and the <br />Northeast Neighborhood Development Area. <br />2. The Relocation Policy and the Policy of Management of Acquired Properties, as <br />amended herein, are each re- adopted by the Commission . <br />3.
