WHEREAS, the Commission desires to further amend Resolution No. 919 by expanding the Airport Economic Development Area to include Expansion Area No. 18 so as to facilitate and enhance the replanning, development and disposition of property within the Area, which Expansion Area No. 18 is described as follows: Expansion Area No. 18 A part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 17, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, City of South Bend, German Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, being more commonly described as follows: Commencing at a point 110 feet East of the Southwest comer of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 17; thence North parallel with the West line of said Section 17, a distance of 200 feet to an iron stake; thence East 110 feet to an iron stake; thence South and parallel with the West line of said Section 17, a distance of 200 feet to the South line of said Section 17; thence West and along the South line of said Section 17, 110 feet to the place of beginning. WHEREAS, the Development Plan includes a list of the parcels of property within the Area to be acquired; and WHEREAS, Section 17.5 of the Act provides for the means for amending a resolution or plan in a way that enlarges the boundaries of an economic development area by not more than twenty percent (20 %) of the original economic development area or adds one (1) or more parcels to the Property Acquisition List; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Development Plan and modify the list of parcels of property within the Area to be acquired by adding parcels of property to the Property Acquisition (40V -8-
