thence South along said centerline to the South right -of -way line of Jefferson <br />Boulevard; thence East along said South right -of -way line to the East right -of -way <br />line of St Louis Boulevard; thence South along said East right -of -way line to the <br />North right -of -way line of Wayne Street; thence East along said North right -of- <br />way line of Wayne Street to the East right -of -way line of Notre Dame Avenue; <br />thence South along said East right -of -way line to the Northeasterly right -of -way <br />line of Northside Boulevard; thence Southeasterly along said Northeasterly right - <br />of -way line to the South right -of -way line of Sample Street; thence Southwesterly <br />along said South right -of -way line to the centerline of the St. Joseph River; thence <br />meandering Northwesterly along said centerline to the Easterly projection of the <br />Southerly right -of -way line of Monroe Street; thence Southwesterly along said <br />projection and the Southerly right -of -way line of Monroe Street to the Easterly <br />right -of -way line of Lincolnway East (U.S. Highway #933); thence Southeasterly <br />along said Easterly right -of -way line to the South right -of -way line of Sample <br />Street; thence West along said South right -of -way line to the place of beginning <br />containing 647.54 acres more or less. <br />(3). The previously prepared maps and plats showing the boundaries of the <br />South Bend Central Development Area, as expanded herein, showing the location <br />of the various parcels of property, streets, alleys, and other features affecting the <br />acquisition, clearance, replatting, replanning, rezoning or redevelopment of the <br />South Bend Central Development Area, indicating any parcels of property to be <br />excluded from acquisition, and indicating the parts of the South Bend Central <br />llw� Development Area to be devoted to public ways, levees, sewerage, parks, <br />playgrounds, and other public purposes under the Development Plan as modified <br />herein are hereby approved. <br />(4). The proposed amendment to the Development Plan to replace <br />pages 7 and 8 with pages 7, 7a and 8 as attached hereto as Exhibit "A "is in all <br />respects approved. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION CONCERNING THE <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ALLOCATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF <br />TAX INCREMENTAL FINANCING, THAT: <br />(5). South Bend Allocation Area No. I is hereby expanded to include <br />Expansion Area No. 6 as described in the 32nd WHEREAS clause above so that <br />the boundaries of the Allocation Area and the South Bend Central Development <br />Area are coterminous excepting therefrom Expansion Area No. 4 as described and <br />approved in Resolution No. 1737 adopted on February 18, 2000. <br />(6). Any taxes levied on the property imposed under Ind. Code § 6 -1.1 in <br />IL -11- <br />
