Washington Street; thence East along said South right -of -way line to the West right -of -way line of Chapin Street; thence North to the North right -of- way line of Washington Street; thence East along said North right -of -way line to the East right -of -way line of Williams Street; thence South to the place of beginning containing 9.97 acres more or less. The Total acreage after said exception is 322.3 acres more or less. (3). The previously prepared maps and plats showing the boundaries of the West Washington- Chapin Development Area, as modified herein, showing the location of the various parcels of property, streets, alleys and other features affecting the acquisition, clearance, replatting, replanning, rezoning or redevelopment of said area and parts of the area that are to be devoted to public ways, levees, sewerage, parks, parks, playgrounds and other public purposes under the plan for redevelopment of the West Washington- Chapin Development Area as modified herein are hereby approved. (4). The proposed amendment to the Development Plan to replace pages 2a, 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a, 10a, 11 a and 16h with pages 2a-2,4a-2, 5a -2, 6a -2 -i, 6a -2 -ii, 7a -2, 10a -2, 11 a -2 and 16h- 2, as attached hereto is hereby in all respects approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ALLOCATION AREA FOR PURPOSES OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING THAT: (5). The West Washington- Chapin Allocation Area ( "West Washington- Chapin Allocation Area No. 1 A ") is hereby reduced to delete Reduction Area No. 1 as described in the fifth WHEREAS clause above, so that the boundaries of the allocation area and the West Washington- Chapin Development Area as described in Paragraph (2), above, are coterminous. (6). Any taxes levied on property imposed under I.C. 6 -1.1 in the allocation area, as modified herein, shall be allocated, distributed and used as provided in Resolution No. 818, as amended, and the Act. The allocation area as modified herein shall be hereinafter known as "West Washington- Chapin Allocation Area No. lA ". (7). The allocation provision for the area described as Reduction Area No. l shall expire upon execution of this Resolution No. 2000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other findings, determinations and conclusions in Resolution No. 818 , as amended from time -to -time, shall remain as stated therein. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the United States of America is hereby assured of full compliance by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission with regulations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development ( "HUD ") effectuating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary is hereby directed to file with the Office of the Recorder for St. Joseph County, Indiana a certified copy of Resolution No. 2000, the West Washington- Chapin Development Area Development Plan, as amended, with the minutes of this meeting.
