Public Hearing <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2279 <br />expanding the boundaries of the Airport <br />Economic Development Area, expanding <br />the allocation area for purposes of tax <br />increment financing and amending the <br />Airport Economic Development Area <br />Development Plan. <br />Mr. Inks noted that the public hearing file is <br />complete and contains: (1) a copy of the <br />Notice of Hearing; (2) a copy of Resolution <br />No. 2279; (3) an affidavit from the South <br />Bend Tribune stating that the Notice of <br />Hearing was published in that newspaper on <br />December 8, 2006; an affidavit from the <br />South Bend Tribune stating that the Notice of <br />Hearing was published in that newspaper on <br />December 1, 2006; (4) an affidavit from the <br />Tri-County News stating that the Notice of <br />Hearing was published in that newspaper on <br />December 1, 2006; (5) as of 10:00 a.m. there <br />were 0 written remonstrances <br />concerning Resolution No. 2279. <br />Mr. Witwer noted that Resolution No. 2279 <br />expands the boundaries of the Airport <br />Economic Development Area and TIF <br />Allocation Area No. l to add a portion of one <br />property to the development area and to the <br />acquisition list of the development plan. The <br />property is needed for right-of way for the <br />Olive Road improvements. The address of <br />the property to be added to the acquisition <br />list is 52097 Olive Road. The expansion is <br />to be known as Expansion Area No. 22. <br />Expansion Area No. 22 meets several of the <br />goals and objectives of the Airport Economic <br />Development Area Development Plan, as <br />14 <br />
