Tax Abatements <br />continue ... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2274 <br />approving an application for personal <br />property tax deduction for property located at <br />3702 Progress Drive in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. (Parrish/Meyer Machine) <br />(3) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2275 approving an <br />application for real property tax deduction <br />for property located at 901 N. Notre Dame <br />Avenue in the Northeast Neighborhood <br />Development Area. (Marc & Jeanette <br />Burdell) <br />Mr. Schalliol gave the staff report on the <br />project. Marc and Jeanette Burdell plan to <br />construct asingle-family residence of <br />approximately 2,400 square feet, with three <br />bedrooms, three bathrooms, four common <br />rooms and atwo-car garage, situated on a 66 <br />x 122 ft lot. The estimated cost of the project <br />will be $330,000. Total taxes to be abated <br />during the five-year abatement period is <br />estimated at $10,262. Total taxes to be paid <br />during the five-year abatement period is <br />estimated at $24,342. <br />The Burdells have not had any previous tax <br />abatements. The property is properly zoned <br />for the proposed use.
