The purchase price was set by <br />two independent appraisals at $8,348 for <br />1735 N. Bendix and $7,912.50 for 1827 N. <br />Bendix. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. Hojnacki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2270 <br />related to acquisition of property in the <br />Airport Economic development Area. <br />(2) Staff report on Capital Improvements in <br />the Blackthorn Golf Course. <br />Mr. Inks noted that at a previous meeting the <br />Commission entertained a request for bunker <br />renovations for Blackthorn Golf Course. The <br />instruction to staff coming out of that <br />meeting was to review the capital plans for <br />the golf course and come up with a proposal <br />to finance the capital improvements from the <br />operating revenue of the golf course. <br />Staff has put together schedules which meet <br />those requirements and have provided them <br />to the Commissioners prior to this meeting. <br />Rick Reid and John Quickstad of Blackthorn <br />Golf Course have put together a Capital Plan <br />covering the years 2006 through 2020. It <br />includes course improvements, equipment <br />needed to maintain the course, clubhouse <br />improvements, and equipment needed to <br />sustain the operations in the clubhouse.
