SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PARK CONMUSSIONERS <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> AUGUST 1, 2011 <br /> The Board of Park Commissioners of the Park District of the City of South Bend, Indiana met on <br /> Monday August 1, 2011 at the O'Brien Administration&Recreation Center, 321 E. Walter St., <br /> South Bend, Indiana for its regular meeting. Notice of the date,time and place of the meeting were <br /> duly given as required by law. <br /> Park Board members present were as follows: <br /> Mr. Robert Henry,President <br /> Mr. Robert Goodrich,Vice President <br /> Dr. Thomas Kelly <br /> Mr. Garrett Mullins <br /> Park Board members absent were as follows: <br /> None <br /> Staff members present: Bill Carleton,Fiscal Officer; Mike Dyszkiewicz,Maintenance <br /> Superintendent; Terry DeRosa,Zoo Director; Thomas Bodnar,Park Board Attorney <br /> L The meeting was called to order by Board President Robert Henry at 3:04 p.m. <br /> II. The next order of business was new business. <br /> 1. Request to Solicit Quotes for X-Ray processor for Zoo- Terry DeRosa <br /> Mr. DeRosa requested permission to go out for quotes for an automatic x-ray processor <br /> for the veterinary clinic. It was hoped to have them ready for the next regular meeting. <br /> Mr. Goodrich made a motion to approve the request to solicit quotes for an x-ray <br /> processor. Dr. Kelly seconded the motion and it was passed. <br /> 2. Opening of Voorde Park Quotes for Land Developments-Bill Schalliol,Mike Bultinck <br /> Dr. Kelly made a motion rejecting all the quotes opened at the July 22 special meeting <br /> related to the Voorde Park land improvements. Mr. Goodrich seconded the motion and it <br /> was passed. <br /> Mr. Bultinck presented three sealed quotes for consideration. They were opened and read <br /> aloud. <br /> a. Ritschard Bros.- Base Quote-East Rugby Field- $60,079 <br /> Alt#I-West Rugby Field- $27,714 <br /> Vol Alt#1- 0 <br /> Vol Alt#2- 0 <br /> b.
