Tax Abatements <br />continue ... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by <br />Mr. King and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2249 <br />approving an application for real property tax <br />deduction for property located at 936 Notre <br />Dame Avenue in the Northeast Neighborhood <br />Development Area. (Ani Aprahamian) <br />B. Housing <br />There was no business related to Housing. <br />C. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for roof maintenance in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area (LaSalle <br />Hotel) <br />Mr. Williams noted that Bob Humbarger of <br />ComSpecT Services, Inc. has submitted a <br />proposal to evaluate leaks, prepare a plan for <br />correction and oversee the plan to completion. <br />He will continue to monitor maintenance <br />issues involving the roof for the remainder of <br />2006. Mr. Williams noted that ConSpecT <br />Services oversaw repairs to the upper roof in <br />2005. These repairs will be to the lower roof <br />in the back. He will furnish this service for a <br />cost of $2,230 plus reimbursable expenses <br />such as third party testing, photographic <br />image reproduction, printing the RFP project <br />manual and expenses related to any additional <br />trips to the area due to inclement weather <br />conditions.
