South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting -May 19, 2006 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />F. Airport Economic Development Area <br />() continued... <br />Mr. VUitwer noted that Resolution No. 2245 <br />will expand the Airport Economic <br />Development Area and TIF Allocation Area <br />No. l and will amend the Development Plan <br />by adding five properties to the acquisition <br />list: 4022 VU. Cleveland Road, 2903 <br />Foundation Drive, 3922 Nimtz Parkway, <br />1827 N. Bendix Drive, and 173 S N. Bendix <br />Drive. All acquisitions are for right-of way <br />and are not expected to be purchase of the <br />whole parcels. A public hearing on <br />Resolution No. 2245 will be scheduled for <br />June 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by <br />Mr. Hojnacki and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted Resolution No. 2245 <br />for filing and set a public hearing on <br />Resolution No. 2245 for 10:00 a.m., June 16, <br />2006. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Contract for Sale of Land in the in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Lots 4-6, U.S. 31 Industrial Park) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that on December 2, <br />2005, the Redevelopment Commission <br />approved a proposal from Christian Davey <br />with PCN Properties, LLC for the purchase <br />of three lots (4-6) in the US 31 Industrial <br />Park. The properties are located adjacent to <br />the entrance of the industrial park.
