Walk River APPROVE SIDEWALK CAFE PERMIT APPLICATION Mr. Gilot indicated that the Board is in receipt of the following Sidewalk Cafe Permit application: APPLICANT: Bruno's Pizza BUSINESS ADDRESS: 131 South Michigan Street DAYS/TIMES OF OPERATION: 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. COMMENT: Fencing Required if Alcohol is Served Mr. Inks made a motion that the Sidewalk Cafe Permit Application be approved. Mr. Gilot seconded the motion which carried. APPROVAL OF OPEN AIR BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations from Engineering, Code Enforcement, Building Department, Community and Economic Development, and Downtown South Bend for an application from Skinny's Coney Concessions, 59899 Valley View Trail, Osceola, Indiana 46561, for a License Application for an open air business located at the corner of Washington Street and Main Street, and a second location at Washington Street. and Lafayette Boulevard, with operating hours from January to December, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. These licenses are for the sale of hot dogs and beverages. The Building Department stated there must be a five foot clearance for pedestrian traffic. The Board noted the location at Washington Street and Lafayette Boulevard must be on the public sidewalk, and not in the park owned by the County at that location. Mr. Gilot requested the City Engineer provide an aerial photo with the approved location for the placement of the cart. Mr. Mark Bennett, Owner, stated his cart will be located only on the public sidewalk, not in the park. Ms. Greene questioned the times and dates of each location. Mr. Bennett stated he will remain open year-round, weather permitting. He asked if he would be restricted to the times in his application; if business was going well, could he stay open later. Ms. Greene stated the Board is approving what he put on his application, if he intends to lengthen his hours, he needs to notify the Board and get approval. Upon a motion
