South Bend Central Development Area <br />continue ... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the PROPOSALS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE <br /> <br />Commission approved the request for SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br /> <br />proposals for professional services in the AND ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM JEROME E. <br />MICHAELS FOR THE SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />South Bend Central Development Area and PROPOSED <br />accepted the proposal from Jerome E. <br />Michaels for the scope of services and fee <br />proposed. <br />(6) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2228 setting the fair reuse <br />value of property in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. (NW Corner <br />of St. Joseph St. and Jefferson Blvd.) <br />Ms. Laurent noted that Resolution No. 2228 <br />sets the offering price for a partial interest in <br />the land at the northwest corner of St. Joseph <br />St. and Jefferson Blvd. at $23,250. The <br />Commission previously approved a proposal <br />from Gameday Centers to develop the air <br />rights over this property. Resolution No. <br />2228 sets a value on the ground rights with <br />the restrictions that a parking facility with <br />first floor retail be built, having 300-400 <br />parking spaces and 12,000 sft of retail. The <br />development must cover the entire .5 acres. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. King, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION N0.2228 <br />Mr. Hojnacki and unanimously carried, the SETTING THE FAIR REUSE VALUE OF PROPERTY IN <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2228 THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT <br />AREA.
