South Bend Central Development Area
(1) Commission approval requested for
Resolution No. 2202 approving a form of
lease for 117/119 E. Wayne Street and
authorizing the execution and delivery
thereof and other related matters.
Mr. Williams noted that Resolution No. 2202
approves a form of lease for the
Commission's commercial leases and
authorizes the Commission to execute the
lease with Brenda Markin for the Wayne
Street garage retail space at 117/119 E.
Wayne Street.
Mr. Williams noted that there were several
minor changes to the lease that was originally
presented with Resolution No. 2202: (1)
changed the occurrences of "State Cafe" to
"Brenda Markin" because she is operating as
a sole proprietor; (2) adjusted dates related to
when the Commission could provide the
property; and (3) added some items to the list
of improvements that would be performed
before Ms. Markin took possession.
