Upon Council approval of the proposed additional street paving appropriation, the total street paving <br /> investment in fiscal 2011 of$2.85 million compares to the 2010 street paving investment of$2.7 million. <br /> Traffic Signal Installation — request for infrastructure investment of $0.150 million to allow for the <br /> installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of Western Avenue and Laurel Street. The traffic <br /> signal proposed is required to enable traffic efficient entry and exit to the Kroc Center Facility based on <br /> City Engineering projections of traffic volumes. <br /> The proposed source of funds for this appropriation is as follows: <br /> Project Fund $ Amount <br /> Street Paving Fund 202 Motor Vehicle Highway 400,000 <br /> Fund 251 Local Roads &Streets 450,000 <br /> Traffic Signal j Fund 251 Local Roads &Streets 150,000 <br /> Total 1,000,000 <br /> This bill is presented to Council for first read at the July 11, 2011 Council meeting; committee meeting, 2nd <br /> read, 3�d read and Council vote on July 25, 2011. <br /> Mayor Luecke and Public Works Director Gilot will present this Bill to the Common Council at the <br /> appropriate Council Committee meeting, public hearing and at the Council meeting.
