according to the name of the business holding the license. <br /> If the name of the business holding the license begins with <br /> a letter falling between A and M within the alphabet, the <br /> renewal date shall be on or before March 1 of each year. If <br /> the name of the business holding the license begins with a <br /> letter falling between N and Z within the alphabet, the <br /> renewal date shall be on or before April 1 of each year. <br /> Licenses issued pursuant to section 4-48 shall be renewed on <br /> or before May 1, of each year following the year in which <br /> they are issued or renewed. <br /> Licenses issued pursuant to section 4-61 shall be renewed on <br /> or before June October 1 of each year following the year in <br /> which they are issued or renewed. All other licenses issued <br /> pursuant to this chapter shall be renewed on or before <br /> January 31 of each year. <br /> (c) In the event an application for a new license is made <br /> six (6) months after the applicable renewal date, the fee <br /> shall be prorated to one-half of the yearly license <br /> fee . <br /> (d) Regulated business : <br /> (1) Adult business . <br /> (2) Alarm agent . <br /> (3) Arborist, tree service. <br /> (4) Carnivals and circuses . <br /> (5) Automotive repair and service centers . <br /> (6) Food vending vehicles . <br /> (7) Hotels, motels . <br /> (8) Laundries, laundries (self-service) , self-service dry <br /> cleaners . <br /> (9) Massage parlors . <br /> (10) Massage technicians . <br /> (11) Open air stands . <br /> (12) Peddlers and canvassers . <br /> (13) outdoor motion picture theaters . <br /> (14) Paraphernalia (drug related) . <br /> 2 <br />
