Mr. Varner added that there's <br /> one paragraph of his letter which states these <br /> guidelines are for new construction only: that <br /> they do not affect, in any way shape or form <br /> existing buildings. Even if owners improve <br /> existing buildings, they still remain <br /> guidelines and not building department <br /> requirements. Ms. Maradik agreed. She will <br /> provide a copy of Mr. Byorni's letter for <br /> Commissioners. <br /> A. Tax Abatements <br /> (1) Resolution No. 2913 approving an <br /> application for real property tax deduction <br /> for property located at 4411 Quality Drive <br /> in the Airport Economic Development <br /> Area (GVW Realty). <br /> Ms. Hahn noted that GVW Realty, LLC <br /> intends to construct a 30,635 square foot <br /> building addition to an existing building <br /> located at 4411 Quality Drive. The existing <br /> building is occupied by a tenant, Best One <br /> Tire. The new addition will be occupied by <br /> another tenant, Premier Bandag #3. The new <br /> addition will be primarily made of steel, <br /> masonry, and concrete materials. The <br /> estimated cost of the new addition is <br /> $1,500,000. <br /> 16 <br />
