She <br /> asked that that item be moved to the top of the Agenda <br /> due to the Mayor's tight schedule. There was no <br /> objection and the item was so moved. <br /> 6. NEW BUSINESS <br /> D. Airport Economic Development Area <br /> (1) Memorandum of Understanding between <br /> Innovation Park, Notre Dame, Inc. and the <br /> City of South Bend, Indiana on behalf of <br /> Ignition Park <br /> Mayor Luecke, noted he is a board member <br /> for Innovation Park and that there has been a <br /> wonderful partnership between the <br /> University of Notre Dame's Innovation Park <br /> and the city's sister tech park, Ignition Park. <br /> The Mayor's term is coming to an end and <br /> staff wanted to memorialize the relationship <br /> in a Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> Innovation Park will facilitate an introduction <br /> to future graduates of Innovation Park as <br /> potential clients for Ignition Park. The role <br /> of Innovation Park is to accelerate client <br /> companies to develop suitable milestones, to <br /> maintain ongoing communication with <br /> Ignition Park, and to promote the potential <br /> merits and suitability of Ignition Park.
