South Bend Redevelopment Commission Special Meeting — January 5, 2001 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) j. Commission approval requested for Resolution No. 1821. Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried the Commission approved Resolution No. 1821 a supplemental appropriation to make lease payments for local public improvements that are in or serving the South Bend Central Allocation Area and to pay expenses incurred by the Commission for local public improvements that are in or serving the Allocation Area. (South Bend Central Development Area) k. Commission approval requested for professional environmental services in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. (Oliver Plow Works VRP consultant contract) Mr. Laurent noted that we expect to receive official word next week from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management for its Voluntary Remediation Program (VRP) for the Oliver Plow Works site. Envirocorp drafted the application. This contract covers continued consulting throughout the administration of this process. The fee for these services is $7,650. Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by Ms. Jones and unanimously carried the Commission approved the contract with Envirocorp for professional services in the Sample -Ewing Development Area. (Oliver Plow Works VRP) 1. Commission approval requested for Satisfaction of Obligations and Release of Mortgage for property located at 617 N.
