South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - January 19, 2001 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />e. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the counter offer and <br />approved the Contract for Sale and Purchase of <br />Real Estate. <br />The Commission reopened the Claims and <br />approved the $100,000 claim from Fund 424, <br />SBCDA TIF. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Rock introduced a new employee, Mr. Bill <br />Schalliol. He stated that Mr. Schalliol will be <br />working mostly with Mr. Case in the Blackthorn <br />area. <br />Mr. Giulioni reported that the building known as <br />Barb's restaurant was demolished over the weekend. <br />He noted that some of the limestone blocks were <br />saved and he is going to propose to the new property <br />owner that he incorporate the blocks into the design <br />of the new building to be cornerstones. <br />Mr. Inks reported that he had copies of the 2001 <br />Redevelopment budget for the Commission to read <br />at their convenience. <br />8.
