South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —July 20, 2001 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by Mr. <br />Kahn and unanimously carried, the Commission <br />approved the Claims submitted July 20, 2001, and <br />ordered the checks to be released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />Mr. Inks requested that items 6.c. and 6.e. be <br />addressed first. There was no objection and the <br />items were expedited. <br />c. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1841, an application for real <br />property tax abatement for property located <br />at 330 East Jefferson Blvd. in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. (Crowe, Chizek <br />and Company, LLP) <br />Mr. Beitzinger reported that the petitioner <br />provides innovative business solutions for <br />assurance, consulting, e- business, financial and <br />human capital, outsourcing, tax, and technology <br />on a national and global basis. Crowe, Chizek <br />and Company has thirteen offices which <br />employ over 1,600 people worldwide with the <br />South Bend office as its headquarters. To <br />accommodate future growth of the South Bend <br />office, the company will construct a new 50,000 <br />sft. building adjacent to its current main <br />building. <br />3 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />SUBMITTED JULY 20,200 1, AND ORDERED THE <br />CHECKS TO BE RELEASED. <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS. <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS. <br />
