South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting —July 20, 2001
6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.)
a. (Continued...)
MR. WATTERUD (Continued...)
the record, until I can find out what my rights
are. I am totally unprepared.
MS. GREENE: Just so that you are aware that
the Statute contemplates that as part of the
notice that you received in the mail and the
notice that was published in the papers, that if
you are objecting you need to file a written
remonstrance. Just so that you are aware.
MR. WATTERUD: Ok. I'd like to say that I
was told that my property wasn't part of the
project.
MR. MARIANI: Do you own any other
property along Sample?
MR. WATTERUD: There's actually one
between Miller Street. There are two phone
numbers and I left the paper in the car.
MR. MARIANI: [What] I'm asking, is 721
[Sample Street] the only property along Sample
that you own.?
MR. WATTERUD: I also own the vacant lot on
the other side of Miller Court. There's the
Antique World, Miller Court, then there's that
vacant lot. I also own that vacant lot. There are
just the two pieces of property.
MR. HUNT: I would suggest you file a written
remonstrance.
22
