Continued... <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Certificate of <br />Completion for JTD Realty LLC in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. (Ditmer <br />Trucking) <br />d. Commission approval requested for <br />Community Development Program <br />Contract with the City of South Bend for <br />South Michigan Public Facility <br />Development from 9/25/01 to 12/31/02 <br />(CD01- 8138). <br />The staff report stated that this contract is <br />between the City of South Bend by its Board <br />of Public Works and the Redevelopment <br />Commission of the City of South Bend. The <br />contract allows for the spending of a <br />$300,000 grant from the Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) for the <br />acquisition, relocation, demolition, and site <br />preparation of 1115, 1119, and 1123 South <br />Michigan Street for the South Michigan <br />Street Public Facility Development. The <br />staff recommended the Commission approve <br />the contract. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Community <br />Development Program Contract with the City <br />of South Bend for the South Michigan Public <br />Facility Development from 9/25/01 to <br />12/31/02. (CDO1- 8138). <br />e. Commission approval requested for <br />professional services in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area.
