South Bend Redevelopment Commission Regular Meeting — January 18, 2002 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) G. West Washington- Chapin Development Area (1) continued... Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Resolution No. 1862 a resolution of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission determining its intent to pay certain expenses incurred for local public improvements in or serving the West Washington- Chapin Allocation Area (South Bend Allocation Area No. 7) from the West Washington- Chapin Allocation Area (South Bend Allocation Area No. 7) Special Fund and setting a Public Hearing for February 01, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. 7. PROGRESS REPORTS Mr. Hunt noted that this meeting is Commissioner Caldwell's last meeting. He thanked him for his service to the Commission and wished him well in his future endeavors. Mr. Caldwell expressed his thanks to the Commission for the opportunity he had to serve and to the staff who do a great job for the Commission. Mrs. Kolata reported that Allied Products had signed a Compromise and Settlement Agreement for acquisition of the Stamping Plant and the Oliver Plow property. The agreement has not yet been filed with the court, but may be filed today. 8.
