South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />ce Regular Meeting —May 3, 2002 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Mr. Hunt requested an explanation of a $121,074.14 <br />claim submitted for Reith Riley. <br />Mr. Case explained that Reith Riley is a company <br />doing earth and site preparation work for the TJX <br />Project. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Roemer, seconded by Ms. <br />Jones and unanimously carried, the Commission <br />approved the Claims submitted May 3, 2002, and <br />ordered the checks to be released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />ILThere was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Tax Abatements <br />There were no tax abatements. <br />B. Housing <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Certificate of Waiver for property <br />located at 413 S. Jackson St. in <br />connection with the Rental Rehab <br />Program. (Charles Austin) <br />Under the Rental Rehab loan program <br />ten percent of the loan will be waived <br />each year if the conditions of the <br />program are met. The dwelling has been <br />inspected by the Building Department <br />and those conditions have been met. <br />c, <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS SUBMITTED <br />MAY 3, 2002, AND ORDERED THE CHECKS TO BE <br />RELEASED. <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS. <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS. <br />THERE WERE NO TAX ABATEMENTS. <br />
