v � <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting— August 16, 2002 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Tax Abatements <br />There were no tax abatements. <br />B. Housing <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Satisfaction of Obligations and Release <br />of Mortgage for property located at 511 <br />N. Blaine Avenue. (Housing <br />Development Corp.) <br />Ms. Greene reported that the property <br />located at 511 N. Blaine Avenue is <br />scheduled for closing today, August 16, <br />2002 at Metropolitan Title Company. <br />Staff was contacted by Metropolitan Title <br />and informed that the Commission had <br />previously released the mortgage on the <br />IL property, however, the Satisfaction of <br />Obligations was apparently not recorded. <br />Ms. Greene advised that all obligations <br />under the Real Estate Mortgage and <br />Security Agreement related to the Rental <br />Rehab loan for 511 N. Blaine Avenue have <br />been waived or satisfied and the mortgage <br />may be released and a transfer of <br />ownership approved. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Satisfaction of <br />Obligations and Release of Mortgage for <br />property located at 511 N. Blaine Avenue. <br />(Housing Development Corp.) Ms. <br />Roemer abstained from the vote. <br />C <br />THERE WERE NO TAX ABATEMENTS. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE SATISFACTION OF <br />OBLIGATIONS AND RELEASE OF MORTGAGE FOR <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 511 N.
