Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(6) continued... <br />declaratory resolution for the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. Resolution <br />No. 1906 sets the public hearing for <br />September 6, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. <br />Upon a motion Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. <br />1906 authorizing publication of a public <br />hearing to provide for the designation of a <br />taxpayer pursuant to I.C. 36 -7 -14 -39.3. <br />(7) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1907 related to <br />acquisition of property in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area by eminent <br />domain. <br />Mr. Laurent noted that Resolution <br />No. 1907 sets a purchase price of $2,500 <br />for a property located on Franklin Street. <br />The price is the equivalent of just over <br />$31,000 per acre. The property is .0795 <br />acres. The resolution also authorizes the <br />sending of a purchase offer and the use of <br />eminent domain if agreement to sell <br />cannot be reached in 30 days. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. <br />1907 related to acquisition of property in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area by <br />eminent domain. <br />24 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No. 1906 <br />AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF A PUBLIC <br />HEARING TO PROVIDE FOR THE DESIGNATION OF <br />A TAXPAYER PURSUANT TO I.C. 36 -7 -14 -39.3. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION No. 1907 <br />RELATED TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN THE <br />SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA BY <br />EMINENT DOMAIN. <br />
