South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting— September 6, 2002 <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Rock reported on the progress of the Oliver <br />Plow redevelopment. Engineering quotes for <br />demolition were received and the figures were <br />approximately one -half of the expected $3M. The <br />bid will be awarded on Monday, September 9, 2002. <br />Mr. Rock also advised that the Tech Data sewer has <br />been moved and the Board of Public Works is <br />currently working on the water line. It is hoped that <br />Tech Data will soon be under construction. <br />Mr. Williams reported that staff is working on a <br />revised Lease Assignment for Quizno's Classic <br />Subs located at 131 S. Michigan Street. A new <br />entity will assume the lease; however, it will remain <br />a Quizno's. <br />Mr. Hunt complimented Mr. Laurent on recent <br />favorable and positive press articles relating to the <br />Oliver Plow Works property. <br />8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />The next Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment <br />Commission is scheduled for September 20, 2002 at <br />10:00 a.m. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the <br />Redevelopment Commission, Ms. Jones made a <br />motion that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Mr. Faccenda seconded the motion and the meeting <br />was adjourned at 10:37 a.m. <br />Robert W.
