South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting — October 18, 2002 <br />IL 6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />E. Airport Economic Development Area <br />(4) Filing of Resolution No. 1916 Amending <br />the Development Plan of the Airport <br />Economic Development Area and setting a <br />Public Hearing for November 1, 2002 at <br />10:00 a.m. <br />Mr. Rock advised that Resolution No. 1916 <br />will expand the boundaries of the Airport <br />Economic Development Area, expand the <br />allocation area for purposes of tax increment <br />financing and amend the Airport Economic <br />Development Area Development Plan. The <br />expansion is being implemented to <br />accommodate the Villas at Blackthorn and <br />the expansion of Olive Road. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by <br />ILI Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted for filing Resolution <br />No. 1916 and set a public hearing on <br />Resolution No. 1916 for 10:00 a.m., <br />November 1, 2002 at a Regular Meeting of <br />the Redevelopment Commission. <br />(5) Commission approval requested for <br />irrigation services in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. ( Signage at entrance to <br />Blackthorn West Business Park) <br />Mr. Case reported that two quotes were <br />received for irrigation work for the signage at <br />the entrance of Blackthorn West Business <br />Park in the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. The two proposals are as follows: <br />Advanced Irrigation $1,678.00 <br />Wissco Irrigation, Inc. $2,600.00 <br />13 <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED FOR FILING RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1916 AND SET A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1916 FOR 10:00 A.M., <br />NOVEMBER 1, 2002 AT A REGULAR MEETING OF <br />THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION. <br />
