Staff recommends approval of the request from the Division of Engineering to conduct temporary storage of clean topsoil on the stamping plant property subject to the receipt of an indemnity agreement. Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the Commission authorized the City of South Bend Division of Engineering to store clean topsoil at the former Studebaker Stamping Plant located at 601 W. Broadway subject to receipt of indemnification. (TJX Project) (2) Commission approval requested for a Deed of Gift from the Northern Indiana Center for History for donated items. (Oliver Plow Works) Mr. Laurent reported that a Deed of Gift has been requested from the Northern Indiana Center for History for items found at the former Oliver Plow Works property. A cornerstone and time capsule were discovered and removed from the Oliver Administration Building prior to demolition and donated to the Northern Indiana Center for History on September 3, 2002. Staff recommends approval of the Deed of Gift transferring the donated items, including the 1967 cornerstone, time capsule and associated items to the Northern Indiana Center for History. Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the Commission approved a request for a Deed of Gift from the Northern Indiana Center for History for donated items.
