(Appraisal work, 401 E. <br />Monroe, former Key Bank drive -thru) <br />(5) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in <br />the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (Appraisal work <br />for three lots, NW corner of Hill and <br />Colfax) <br />Mr. Schalliol reported that to facilitate <br />the acquisition of three (3) parcels on <br />the northwest corner of Hill Street and <br />Colfax Avenue, staff has determined <br />an additional MAI appraisal needs to <br />be completed to make a fair and <br />accurate offer to the two owners of the <br />properties. R. E. Pitts & Associates <br />has provided a proposal for the three <br />lots in the not -to- exceed amount of <br />$2,250. Staff recommends accepting <br />the proposal from R. E. Pitts & <br />Associates. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />the Commission approved the request <br />CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA AND <br />AUTHORIZED STAFF TO RETAIN R. E. PITTS & <br />for professional services in the South <br />ASSOCIATES BASED ON THE SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Bend Central Development Area and <br />AND FEE PROPOSED.
