South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />IL Regular Meeting — February 21, 2003 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />D. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Receipt and opening of bids in connection <br />with the Crescent Avenue Properties <br />Parcels 1, 2 and 3 in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. (North side of <br />Crescent Avenue between Niles Avenue <br />and Hill Street) <br />Mr. Schalliol reported that the staff of the <br />Redevelopment Commission advertised for <br />the disposition of the Crescent Avenue <br />Properties with Resolution No. 1935 and a <br />bid date of Friday, February 21, 2003 at <br />10:00 a.m. At present, no bids have been <br />received. <br />Mr. Hunt advised that no Commission CRESCENT AVENUE PROPERTIES BIDS. <br />action was necessary. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(ALTA survey, 7 parcels located on the <br />East Bank) <br />Mr. Mathia reported that proposals were <br />requested for the preparation of ALTA <br />surveys on several properties located on the <br />East Bank. These properties are commonly <br />known as Stephenson Mill Apartments, <br />Waters Edge and Seitz Park. The surveys <br />are needed to accurately determine property <br />boundaries and legal rights and interests in <br />the properties in anticipation of carrying out <br />various development activities along the <br />East Bank.
