South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting —March 7, 2003 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Mr. Hunt inquired about the National <br />Environmental Services Corp. claim in the amount <br />of $413,430.08, 427 Sample/Ewing - Capital Fund. <br />Mr. Inks responded that the claim was for site work <br />regarding the TJX Project. Mr. Inks also noted the <br />claim is one installment on a contract just over <br />$2M. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Claims submitted <br />March 7, 2003, and ordered the checks to be <br />released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearings <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS SUBMITTED <br />MARCH 7, 2003, AND ORDERED THE CHECKS TO <br />BE RELEASED. <br />THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS. <br />THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS. <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1952 <br />amending the South Bend Central <br />Development Area Development Plan. <br />Mr. Rock reported that Resolution No. 1952 <br />will add a parcel of property to the South <br />Bend Central Development Area <br />Development Plan acquisition list. The Tax <br />Key No. is 18- 3016 -0589 and the address is <br />420 S. Main Street, more commonly known <br />as Blessings Music. Currently the <br />Commission owns Lots 1 & 2 in this area, <br />and the addition of this parcel would make <br />the property more desirable to a potential <br />R <br />
