Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(4) continued... <br />Chapin Street must be masonry. In the <br />remainder of the industrial park masonry <br />buildings are preferred, but not required. <br />Metal buildings may be permitted if the <br />design provides for masonry wainscoting up <br />approximately 1/3 of the building height. <br />The former boilerhouse and smokestack are <br />to remain in the industrial park and must be <br />repaired and renovated by any bidder <br />proposing a parcel that includes the <br />structures. Buildings 46 and 47 are part of a <br />National Register of Historic Places historic <br />district and any renovation of that property <br />ce must respect the historical character of the <br />buildings. The bid specifications require <br />appropriate landscaping and screening of <br />storage, parking lots and trash areas. Land <br />may not be purchased for speculation. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Bid <br />Specifications for property in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area.
