Sample -Ewing Development Area <br />(1) continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission ratified and approved the <br />request for maintenance services for <br />property located at 601 W. Broadway in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area and <br />authorized staff to retain Baker General <br />Maintenance based on the scope of services <br />and fee proposed. (South Bend Stamping <br />Plant) <br />Ms. Greene noted that the Commission <br />previously authorized acquisition of the <br />properties referred to in Items 6.13.2, 3 and 4. <br />The closing on one (1) of those properties is <br />scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2003. Any <br />action taken on Items 6.B.2, 3 and 4 will not <br />occur if that closing does not take place. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1970 approving the fair <br />re -use value of property in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. (East Sample <br />Street Properties, southeast corner of <br />East Sample Street and Carroll Street) <br />Mr. Schalliol reported that Resolution <br />No. 1970 sets the fair re -use value for <br />eight (8) parcels of property located on the <br />southeast corner of East Sample Street and <br />Carroll Street. The parcels are referred to as <br />the East Sample Street Properties and are <br />approximately .854 acres in size. The <br />offering price, which is the average of <br />two (2) independent appraisals, is $71,500. <br />L 6 <br />COMMISSION RATIFIED AND APPROVED THE <br />REQUEST FOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 601 W.
