The property owner has asked for a <br />contingency in the event that the <br />Commission does not follow through on the <br />purchaseMay 19, 2003 —the Commission <br />would agree to support de- annexation of the <br />IL property and return the property to its <br />current status. Ms. Greene has prepared a <br />letter to be signed and mailed by Mr. <br />Schalliol, the planner working with the <br />Mahler's regarding the property, that will be <br />mailed today with the Commission's <br />approval. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission authorized staff to send a letter <br />of intent to purchase property adjacent to the <br />Airport Economic Development Area, <br />contingent on annexation and subsequent <br />inclusion in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area.
