Therefore, the loan and grant <br />need to be re- approved in both of their <br />names. The loan is $17,900 at 0% interest, <br />due upon sale of the property. The grant is <br />$7,500. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried the <br />Commission approved the Loan and Grant <br />in connection with the South Bend Home <br />Improvement Program for property located <br />at 1110 N. College. (Nellie Ruth Morgan & <br />Donna Sharon Morgan). <br />C. South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1972 related to acquisition <br />of property in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area by eminent domain. <br />(Blessings Music) <br />Mr. Rock explained that Resolution <br />No. 1972 sets the offering price for <br />Blessings Music Co. at $85,000 and <br />authorizes a purchase offer to be sent with <br />the option to use eminent domain if a <br />negotiated settlement cannot be reached. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1972 <br />related to acquisition of property in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area by <br />ILI eminent domain.
