6. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearings <br />(1) continued... <br />speak. There being no one from the public <br />who wished to speak regarding Resolution <br />No. 2006, Mr. Hunt closed the Public <br />Hearing for whatever action the Commission <br />wished to take. <br />(2) Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 2006. <br />Ms. Greene noted that Resolution No. 2006 <br />is an amendment to a Development Plan <br />governed by Indiana Code 36 -7 -14 -17.5 and <br />requires a finding by the Commission that <br />the amendment to the Development Plan is <br />appropriate and reasonable and that it <br />conforms to the comprehensive plan for the <br />City of South Bend. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission found the proposed amendment <br />to be appropriate and reasonable, to conform <br />to the comprehensive plan for the City of <br />South Bend and approved Resolution <br />No. 2006 amending the Airport Economic <br />Development Area Development Plan. <br />(Airport Economic Development Area) <br />(3) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2008 <br />approving a supplemental appropriation <br />resolution of the City of South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission. (Airport <br />Economic Development Area) <br />Mr. Inks reported there are two (2) debt <br />service reserve funds that have a combined <br />total of $1,155,000 which is the amount <br />being appropriated.
