Airport Economic Development Area <br />(4) continued... <br />has been expanded, Resolution No. 2025 is a <br />procedural matter to set the acquisition <br />price. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 2025 <br />related to the acquisition of property in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Gaby property) <br />Mr. Case advised the Commission that the <br />property owners were aware of the <br />acquisition price and have counter - offered in <br />the amount of $106,800. It was noted that <br />the counter -offer was $1,800 over the <br />highest appraisal received. <br />Ms. Greene noted that the Commission has <br />flexibility in terms of acquisition price once <br />the offering is set at the average of the two <br />appraisals, if the Commission finds it is <br />necessary to acquire the property in order to <br />accomplish the development plan, the <br />property is reasonably priced and there will <br />be public benefit and utility by the <br />acquisition. <br />Mr. Hunt asked if staff was comfortable <br />with the counter -offer being a reasonable <br />price. <br />Mr. Case replied that it is. <br />19 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 2025 <br />RELATED TO THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN <br />THE AIRPORT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA. <br />(GABY PROPERTY) <br />
