Century Center Island Park Pedestrian Bridge <br />Proposal <br />Page 2 <br />b. Field Verify the Existing Physical Conditions and Dimensions of the site; Work shall include the <br />field verification, and photo documentation of the surrounding physical conditions, layout, and <br />utilities. <br />c. Prepare Preliminary Design Documents and Cost Estimates; Work shall include the preparation <br />of Preliminary Drawings /Specifications and an Estimate of the projected cost of construction for <br />alternate approaches to design and construction. Upon review and approval by the Owner, one <br />design approach will be approved; The approved cost estimate will determine the Construction <br />Budget for the Project. Continuation of ADG Services beyond the Design Development Phase <br />shall be contingent on the final approval of the Construction Budget by the Owner. <br />CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT PHASE <br />a. Prepare Drawing and Specification Documents; Based on approved Preliminary Drawings/ <br />Specifications and Construction Budget, Work shall include the preparation of all Drawings and <br />Specifications for the purposes of bidding and construction. <br />b. Prepare Application(s) and Submittal Documents in connection with the Owner's responsibility <br />for filing documents required for the approval of government authorities having jurisdiction over <br />the Project. <br />BIDDING PHASE <br />a. Provide Bidding Assistance; Assist the Owner with obtaining bids and in awarding and preparing <br />the contract for construction. <br />CONSTRUCTION PHASE <br />a. Provide Construction Administration; Work shall include shop- drawing review, periodic on -site <br />observation, attendance at scheduled progress meetings, and punch list /Project close -out. <br />BASIS OF COMPENSATION <br />The Owner shall compensate ADG as follows for Services, as described in ADG Scope of Services: <br />Not -to- exceed sum equal to twenty -two thousand dollars ($22,000). <br />Progress payments for Services in each phase shall total the following percentages for the total <br />compensation payable: <br />Design Development Phase: <br />45% <br />Construction Documents Phase: <br />35% <br />Bidding Phase: <br />05% <br />Construction Phase: <br />15% <br />Total Compensation: <br />100% <br />Services not specifically identified in the ADG SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be considered Additional <br />Services and shall only be performed with authorization from the Owner. The fee for these services shall <br />be computed on an hourly rate as follows: <br />
