South Bend Central Development Area <br />(2) continued... <br />property in the area. The work was on time and <br />fully met staff requirements. Because EIS <br />performed well previously, is a local firm and is <br />already familiar with the area, staff recommends <br />accepting the proposal from EIS Environmental <br />Engineers. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />professional services in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area and authorized staff to retain <br />EIS Environmental Engineers based on the <br />scope of services and fee proposed. <br />(3) Commission approval requested for proposal <br />for landscape maintenance services in the <br />South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(Various Commission owned properties) <br />Mr. Williams reported that bids were requested <br />from seven (7) contractors and four (4) <br />proposals were received to provide lawn care <br />maintenance for commission owned properties <br />located in the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. The proposals are as follows: <br />CFH Landscape Services $1,640 <br />Edges $2,110 <br />Fitzmaurice Landscaping $1,677 <br />Gruber's Landscaping $2,360 <br />Staff recommends accepting the proposal from <br />CFH Landscape Services in the amount of <br />$1,640 for the 2004 growing season. <br />G <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA AND <br />AUTHORIZED STAFF TO RETAIN EIS <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERS BASED ON THE <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE PROPOSED. <br />
