South Bend Central Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for proposal <br />for professional services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. (Survey work at <br />209 Colfax Street, Rink Building) <br />Mr. Mathia reported that proposals were <br />solicited for the preparation of a Rule 12 <br />Certificate of Survey, including legal <br />description, for two (2) parcels of property <br />whose principal address is 209 Colfax Street <br />and is commonly known as the Rink Building. <br />The properties were added to the South Bend <br />Cental Development Area acquisition list on <br />February 20, 2004. The survey is required to <br />accurately determine property boundaries as part <br />of the due diligence process prior to acquisition <br />of the property. Three (3) surveying firms <br />submitted proposals as follows: <br />Danch, Harper & Associates $1,250 <br />The Abonmarche Group $2,575 <br />Wightman Petrie, Inc. $2,250 <br />Staff recommends accepting the proposal from <br />Danch, Harper & Associates in the amount of <br />$1,250. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the request for <br />professional services in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area and authorized staff to retain <br />Danch, Harper & Associates based on the scope <br />of services and fee proposed. <br />LIMA <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE REQUEST FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA AND <br />AUTHORIZED STAFF TO RETAIN DANCH, <br />HARNER & ASSOCIATES BASED ON THE SCOPE OF <br />SERVICES AND FEE PROPOSED. <br />
